The Legal Team
Mark Goh is the managing director of VanillaLaw™ and founder of the firm’s business arm, GoSME. Serving SMEs is something that he knew he wanted to do from the very beginning. In his experience, SMEs are always underrepresented, underserved and ignored. As such, he has made it his life’s goal to build an international community of SME businesses who support each other in their growth plans. GoSME marks the beginning of this vision.
Paerin Choa has more than 10 years of experience as a corporate lawyer with an unusual career trajectory – he spent 6 years right after law school as an actor, host and writer. His return to practice saw him successfully marrying the two worlds of Law & Entertainment. He also serves as legal counsel to a number of SMEs, advising them on operations, agreements and business growth strategies.
Tomoka Hasegawa is the firm’s Foreign Lawyer who deals exclusively with Japanese clientele. She has a degree in Pharmaceutical Science and passed the Japanese bar exam in 2004. Having lived overseas for many years, she is fluent in English and is passionate about bridging local and Japanese communities wherever she resides.
NG BOON GAN
Ng Boon Gan is the firm’s senior legal associate. He is comfortably bilingual in English and Chinese, which allows him to work well with SMEs. His experience in meeting SME needs includes advice on shareholder and director disputes, structuring settlements between competing businesses and representing clients in actions against errant employees.
MOI HUI HUANG
Moi Hui Huang is a practice trainee with the firm. She graduated from the National University of Singapore and has a keen interest in learning how the law can apply across different industries. Her natural curiosity lends itself to her ability to solve problems creatively.
