Mark Goh is the Founder and Managing Director of the law firm.
Mark understood very early on the struggles that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face when attempting to obtain adequate legal protection for their businesses and the challenging traditional high costs of engaging a lawyer.
As such, he decided to develop VanillaLaw™ – a smart document assembly and management software which makes contract drafting services and advice more affordable and accessible to growth-orientated SMEs. This was one of his ways of proving that the traditional lawyer-client dynamics can, and should change.
Since setting up the law firm in 1994, Mark has worked to digitise the firm, streamline and develop systems to serve his clients more efficiently, thereby passing on the cost savings to the SMEs.
Mark has more than 25 years of experience in corporate advisory work and corporate and commercial litigation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Law (Second Class – Upper Division with First Class Honors in both Land Law and Labor Law) from the University of Buckingham (United Kingdom).
He was also called to the English Bar (The Middle Temple).
He is an Accredited Mediator with the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). He is also the current Legal Adviser to the Singapore Precision Engineering & Technology Association (SPETA).
Mark is an avid cyclist and is an advocate of cycling as a form of commuting to work.
In 2018, he has since developed and launched a new business entity, a sister company called Vanilla Resource. The company aims to provide SMEs C-level talent and expertise at a fraction of the cost.

Hui Huang graduated from the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LL.B.) undergraduate degree. Her curiosity to ascertain how her legal training could be applied in different industries compelled her to work at, inter alia, SMEs. Throughout her third and fourth year of law school, she worked part-time for businesses in the food & beverage industry and sports & fitness industry, as well as for a leading financial services company.
As one who is result-driven and growth-oriented, Hui Huang enjoys creative problem solving and working towards a common goal. Having executed fundraisers and programmes to benefit the
less privileged, ran businesses and managed both private and corporate events, she fervently believes in building strong relationships with clients while helping them to achieve their targets and objectives as efficiently as possible.
With art as her first love, Hui Huang sees the practice of law as an art in itself and it is one which she is determined to learn more of and hopefully master. When she is not adding more stamps on her passport, she enjoys exploring nature spots around Singapore, capturing natural landscapes with her smartphone and searching for new music to be added to her ever-expanding eclectic playlist.
